Good restaurant for Thanksgiving in Omaha?

A reader wrote in with this question - good ideas anyone?

We will be in Omaha on Thanksgiving Day.  We would like to have a reservation for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.  Do you have any suggestions of restaurants we can contact to learn of their menus, special offers/plans, etc.?

Omaha Serves, the City of Omaha’s first initiative dedicated to promoting community service, is now recruiting AmeriCorps* VISTAs to work in the following priority areas:

  • Priority #1 – Disaster Recovery
  • Priority #2 – Restoring Neighborhoods
  • Priority #3 – Building Nonprofit Capacity
  • Priority #4 – Serving At-Risk Youth

Often described as the ‘domestic Peace Corps’ AmeriCorps* VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) is a well respected, highly competitive program in National Service. VISTA members working with Omaha Serves will commit a year to serving the community by working to build the capacity in non-profit organizations to utilize volunteers.

Through AmeriCorps* VISTA, ordinary people provide extraordinary service in more than 1,200 projects nationwide. Serve with the best and brightest in the country, through AmeriCorps* VISTA in Omaha.

Interested applicants should submit a resume, cover letter, references and a writing sample addressing the following:

Lady Gaga was still in Omaha yesterday finishing up filming the You and I video.  She did an interview yesterday afternoon at the Channel 94.1 radio station (the link is above).  She sounds like such a nice person! I want to be her friend.
